Dr. Seuss Birthday

Dr. Seuss Birthday - Monday March 2nd will be the 105th anniversary of Dr. Seuss Birthday Theodor Seuss Geisel aka Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss was a writer and cartoonist who published over 60 children’s books such as: The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham (of course) How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Dr. Seuss Birthday was born on March 2, 1904 Theodor Seuss Geisel was of course known to millions of children just as ‘Dr. Seuss’

In celebration of the 105th anniversary of Dr. Seuss Birthday here is our Green Eggs and Ham recipe!

Dr. Seuss Birthday Recipe
: Green Eggs and Ham!

Makes 4 Green Eggs


1/2 cup egg beaters or egg whites
drop or 2 green food coloring
2 canned Peaches (or Apricots sliced) halved
4 slices smoked or deli ham
1-2 tablespoons of butter or margarine (you can also use non-stick food spray)

1. Fry ham until slightly brown and set a side

2. scramble eggs and add enough green food coloring until your happy with the color.

3. Melt butter in frying pan and add a couple of tablespoons of egg mixture (tiring to get the eggs to look like a fried egg) and fry eggs until done.

4. Place the green eggs and ham on a plate then add the halved Peaches(or Apricots) to resemble the bubble.
